Trans Mountain seeks a Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Commercial and Supply Chain Management. In this full-time, in-office role in Calgary, you'll provide strategic legal guidance to support business objectives. As a key member of the Legal Department reporting to the Director of Commercial Law, you will lead complex contracts and negotiate vital agreements to enhance operational excellence. With over ten years of legal expertise, you will advise on risk, compliance, and transaction strategies in the dynamic energy sector. Key Responsibilities: • Advise on commercial operations and procurement matters • Structure and negotiate various commercial agreements • Develop negotiation strategies to mitigate risks • Communicate legal and regulatory risks to stakeholders • Provide guidance on contract lifecycle management Requirements: • Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree • Licensed member of the Law Society of Alberta • 10+ years in commercial law and complex contracting • Proven experience in negotiations and legal drafting • Expertise in procurement and supply chain legal issues Elevate your legal career at Trans Mountain, where your contributions will influence our commercial operations in the energy sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
