Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Sales and Operations, the District Manager is responsible for the overall performance of a district, including sales, profitability, customer experience and the leadership of management teams. The District Manager acts as a strategic leader and mentor to store managers, ensures consistent application of brand standards and serves as the primary link between the stores and head office.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implement business strategies aligned with Structube’s vision, objectives and sales targets;
• Lead, coach and develop store managers to build high-performing, engaged teams that are accountable for their results;
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, conversion rate, average basket, sales productivity, payroll, discounts, refunds and other operational indicators;
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and work with store managers to develop clear, measurable action plans to improve results;
• Ensure that stores meet their monthly sales targets, KPI objectives and established productivity expectations;
• Conduct regular store visits to assess sales performance, customer experience, team effectiveness, visual merchandising and operational execution;
• Ensure that store managers coach their teams effectively and consistently monitor individual and store performance;
• Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, standards and operational expectations across all stores;
• Oversee day-to-day district operations and provide support in resolving escalated customer situations;
• Ensure that merchandise management, inventory control and loss prevention are rigorously maintained in each store;
• Act as the key link between head office and in-store teams, ensuring effective communication and execution of company initiatives;
• Promptly address performance, policy non-compliance or compliance issues, in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation;
• Foster a strong culture focused on sales, accountability, coaching, collaboration, customer service and continuous improvement;
• Perform any other related duties, as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of retail experience, including 3 years in a store management or multi-store management role;
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written;
• Proven leadership skills and demonstrated experience in developing managers and maximizing the performance of multiple sales teams;
• Strong business acumen and ability to analyze performance indicators;
• Keen sense of organization, planning and priority management;
• Ability to influence, mobilize and manage change;
• Availability to travel regularly to stores within the district and to work according to operational needs, including some evenings and weekends;
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle, as the role requires regular driving between store locations within the district.
