Accounting Clerk – Barrie, ON
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for an immediate opportunity in the Barrie, ON.
About the Role
You'll be a key member of the finance team, handling day-to-day accounting operations and supporting the Financial Lead in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
What You'll Do
• Record and process daily financial transactions
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts across multiple legal entities
• Manage invoices, payments, expense reports, and bank reconciliations
• Assist with monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and government remittances
• Support audit preparation and maintain regulatory compliance
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth financial operations
What You'll Bring
• Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Compensation: $27.00/hour
Location: Barrie, ON | Full Time
