Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations & Modernization Specialist to support enterprise infrastructure operations, modernization initiatives, security, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and modernizing enterprise infrastructure, managing vulnerabilities and patches, supporting endpoint environments, strengthening identity and access controls, and improving infrastructure monitoring and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise infrastructure operations and modernization initiatives.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, technology refreshes, and lifecycle management activities.
• Manage vulnerability and patch management across servers, endpoints, and infrastructure environments.
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, performance, and capacity using SCOM and cloud monitoring tools .
• Administer SCCM and Microsoft Intune environments, including software deployment, configuration, compliance, and endpoint management.
• Lead and support endpoint modernization and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Manage and maintain Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes and controls.
• Configure and administer Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and privileged access controls .
• Manage and govern service accounts, including ownership, access reviews, credential management, and lifecycle processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate infrastructure processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, technical standards, procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Support audit readiness, compliance activities, and infrastructure control assessments .
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, endpoint, identity, and monitoring issues.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, networking, application, and service management teams.
• Support the implementation and ongoing operations of Azure infrastructure and cloud services .
• Participate in infrastructure projects, technology migrations, and modernization programs.
• Ensure infrastructure environments meet organizational security, availability, performance, and operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure operations and modernization .
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability and patch management .
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and observability.
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) .
• Experience administering SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune .
• Experience with endpoint management, modernization, and lifecycle management .
• Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) .
• Hands-on experience with:
• Conditional Access
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Privileged Access Management/Controls
• Experience with service account governance and access management .
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security and operational best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and process optimization.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and control requirements .
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud operations .
• Experience with Azure monitoring and management services.
• Knowledge of cloud security and identity management.
• Experience with PowerShell or other infrastructure automation technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL, change management, incident management, and service management processes.
