Become a pivotal force at MaintainX as a Senior Software Development Manager. Lead the Platform division, advocating for AI-native platforms and establishing engineering excellence.
In this managerial role, you will guide seven foundational teams, ensuring that business goals translate into robust engineering investments. You'll also focus on developing the skills of Software Development Managers, setting engineering standards, and fostering cross-team collaborations. Effectively communicating platform strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the operating model and roadmap for Platform Engineering
• Mentor and lead Software Development Managers across teams
• Set clear engineering standards for product reliability and compliance
• Drive the AI-native strategy within the organization
• Ensure operational readiness and reliability across all platforms
Requirements:
• 10+ years in software engineering, including 5 in leadership
• Experience managing managers across at least two teams
• Expertise in platform engineering or reliability engineering
• Proven impact on engineering velocity at a SaaS company
• Strong communication skills for conveying platform complexities
