Shape Canadian brokerage operations through clearing, settlement, custody, and automation expertise at Alpaca, serving a global financial infrastructure platform.As a Senior Brokerage Operations Associate, you will translate CIRO-aligned dealer, clearing, and custody requirements into scalable workflows. You will support account servicing, trade lifecycles, registered accounts, tax operations, and controls. Your documentation will guide Product, Engineering, Compliance, and global Operations.Key Responsibilities:
Design account, trade, custody, and cash processes for ACCCDefine partner-broker responsibilities as operational volume growsAutomate settlement exceptions, reconciliations, and corporate-action processingDocument runbooks, controls, escalations, and vendor interfacesPrepare registered-account and tax workflows for launchRequirements:
10+ years supporting Canadian brokerage operationsExperience with CIRO-regulated or Canadian-market operationsFluency in clearing, settlement, custody, CDS or CDSX, and failsDepth in at least two specified operational disciplinesExceptional written communication for SOPs and decision logsBring Canadian brokerage expertise, automation judgment, and operational documentation skills to Alpaca's ACCC launch and production readiness.
