Undergraduate Program Support Assistant

Job Responsibility:

Purpose: The Undergraduate Program Support Assistant provides administrative and student support in the Chemistry department, under the direction of the Operations Manager. Education: High School graduation with some post-secondary training. Office Administration diploma an asset. Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent-related experience including answering enquiries, coordinating academic assignments, providing front-line service, maintaining computerized records and secretarial duties in an academic environment. Skills: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information with discretion. Attention to detail. Effective customer service skills. Effective oral and written communication to relay information accurately. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Effective organizational skills including the ability to set priorities and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
