Ai Platform Software Engineer

Develop AI platform foundations and runtime infrastructure at Asana in Vancouver, working with modern software design and distributed architectures.As a Software Engineer, you will interview through a centralized process before team matching. Potential teams span infrastructure for autonomous agents, trust and governance systems, evaluation, observability, and AI-enabled product surfaces. The office-centric hybrid schedule includes standard in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.Key Responsibilities:
Break specifications into milestones and technical estimatesBuild services powering autonomous agents and AI workflowsDiagnose bugs across asynchronous or distributed systemsMaintain Areas of Responsibility and production pipelinesConduct rigorous peer code reviewsRequirements:
Two-plus years of professional software engineering experienceProduction experience with modern distributed architecturesStrong command of software design and testing practicesCuriosity about AI tools and emerging technologiesAbility to ship complex changes with minimal oversightBring production engineering experience and AI curiosity to Asana’s platform, infrastructure, and governance systems in Vancouver.
