Analyst - Enablement and Practice - Revenue Management - Temporary

This is a key role within the Revenue Management leadership team, responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring user workflows and best practices. The role primarily defines the best ways to use revenue management tools, but also any other practices that could generate additional revenue or achieve cost savings. The position also includes change‑agent responsibilities as new systems, concepts and practices are implemented.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain expertise in Revenue Management tools and processes and the best ways to manage them.
- Work closely with commercial teams to determine, implement and update practices and workflows that support business needs and aim to exceed our objectives.
- Continuously stay informed about market performance and the challenges Revenue Management teams face in their daily practice.
- Plan and deliver effective training to Revenue Management teams on tools, business processes, best practices, reports and improvements to existing systems as well as new revenue management systems.
- Provide support and guidance to various Revenue Management teams on day‑to‑day issues, offer individual or team coaching as needed, and communicate learnings and feedback by organizing regular workshops.
- Support functional testing of new tools or system updates, coordinate acceptance testing with users and report results to the relevant department heads.
- Develop monitoring and audit processes for business rules applied in Revenue Management systems to maintain system integrity.
- Continuously inquire into the needs of Revenue Management teams and ensure a thorough understanding; liaise with Revenue Management Science and Business Intelligence teams.
- Create a collaborative environment and find creative ways to introduce changes to Revenue Management work processes as new challenges arise or new features/systems are deployed.
- Maximize adoption by teams that are often under significant pressure.
- Work closely with Revenue Management, Revenue Optimization and other teams to ensure the best consistency and use of the available levers.
- Proactively communicate and inform commercial teams outside the department about Revenue Management practices and principles.
Qualifications
- University degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, operations research or equivalent.
- Additional degree or training in education is an asset.
- One to three years of work experience.
- Excellent design, analysis and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex situations, formulate solutions and present results in simple, easy‑to‑understand terms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at multiple levels of expertise and to influence and persuade others to act.
- Ability to cultivate collaborative working relationships and build strong credibility.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work under pressure despite changing priorities and tight deadlines, with little supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience delivering workplace training—operational needs analysis, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of learning outcomes—is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of change management strategies and plan development is a strong asset.
- Experience with origin‑and‑destination revenue management tools (PROS RMA system or equivalent) is an asset.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and methodology is an asset.
- Advanced technical skills, particularly with large databases, are a significant asset.
