Job Responsibility:
Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic
We are looking for a dedicated; organized applicant with strong communication skills to work in our busy Obstetrics / Gynecology clinic. In this role you will work closely with a subspecialist in women's surgical health care and be a valued member of the team.
You will play an instrumental and exceptionally rewarding role in a women's experience of health care. We are passionate about providing elite, evidence-based care and are looking for an individual to help us execute this as the first point of patient contact.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments for patients
- Billing and collecting payment for services
- Booking of operative procedures
- Answering telephones and fielding patient questions
- Ensuring exam rooms are kept stocked, clean and neat
- Sending and receiving faxes
- Instrument reprocessing
To be selected for this position one should be:
- Energetic and hard working
- Friendly, polite and have a professional manner towards both patients and colleagues
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented
- A quick learner
- Have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Requirements:
- Formal MOA training certification (or equivalent)
- Secondary school education
- Familiarity with Accuro EMR would be an asset
- Proficient in English (both verbal and written)
Hours: Full time, some flexibility available
Pay: $23 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
