Job Title: Kitchen Dishwasher

Location: Lunch Lady Kiosk – Oakridge Mall

Job Summary

The Lunch Lady Kiosk at Oakridge Mall is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations. This role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, cookware, food preparation tools, and work areas to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This position does not involve washing customer plateware, glassware, or cutlery.

Key Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and properly store kitchen equipment, cookware, utensils, food containers, and preparation tools.
Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas.
Assist with cleaning kitchen workstations, shelves, sinks, and food preparation areas.
Remove garbage, recycling, and compost as required.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
Support kitchen staff with general cleaning and organizational tasks as needed.
Ensure all equipment is cleaned to health and safety standards.
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
