Metallurgy Technician Mineral Processing

SSR Mining Inc.

Support mineral processing at SSR Mining’s Seabee Gold Operation through sampling, analysis, and process automation systems. This is a fly-in, fly-out role.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Metallurgy, the Metallurgy Technician supports process optimization at Saskatchewan’s only gold-producing facility. The work includes metallurgical accounting, bottle roll testing, analyzer maintenance, data validation, and troubleshooting. You will contribute to reagent optimization, cyanide-code compliance, and continuous-improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct mill sampling, analysis, testing, and metallurgical accounting
Support process automation and analyzer system maintenance
Execute bottle roll tests for plant optimization
Investigate performance deviations and verify field conditions
Prepare metallurgical production data and technical reports

Requirements:

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in metallurgy or related field
One to three years’ mineral processing experience preferred
Understanding of mineral processing and gold recovery operations
Familiarity with process control systems
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
