Warranty Specialist

Brandt Industries is currently seeking a Warranty Specialist in our Regina, SK location. As a Warranty Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our dealership network and customers receive efficient and timely support for warranty claims. You will be responsible for adjudicating and processing warranty claims, managing all related documentation, and collaborating with various departments to uphold the highest standards of customer satisfaction. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering a seamless warranty claims process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  Warranty Claims Adjudication:

• Evaluate warranty claims submitted by our dealership network for accuracy and compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Determine the validity and eligibility of warranty claims based on established criteria and communicate outcomes to the relevant parties.

Documentation Management:

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all warranty claims, approvals, and rejections.
• Ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate, including repair work orders, invoices, photos, and unit registrations.
• Assist in the administration of Product Improvement Programs.

Communication and Support:

• Collaborate with dealership personnel to gather additional information when needed
• Provide clear and timely communication to dealerships regarding the status of their warranty claims, including approvals, rejections, and requests for additional information.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement in warranty claims processing.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify product trends and optimize the warranty administration process.

Compliance and Training:

• Stay up to date with company warranty policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Provide training and guidance to dealership personnel on warranty claim submission and best practices                                                                               

Customer Service:

•   Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring that warranty claims are processed with a focus on customer satisfaction and a positive experience

  Supplier Recovery:

• Maximize reimbursement for failures caused by defective supplier components
• Work with Quality, Engineering, and Procurement to determine recovery opportunities.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to review and process complex cases accurately.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with dealership and internal personnel.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle a high volume of warranty claims efficiently.
• A customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering excellent customer support.
• Ability to adapt to changing policies, procedures, and technology.
• Knowledge of Agricultural or Heavy Equipment industries is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
