Support products used by global enterprises across 35 countries.This Senior Backend Engineer role covers payments, corporate cards, treasury, spend management, and compliance infrastructure. You will own features from technical design through deployment, using Go, Python, or Node.Js/TypeScript. Your work includes databases, distributed services, security controls, observability, and third-party integrations.Key Responsibilities:
Own backend features from scoping through production iterationOptimize PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis data schemasImplement authentication, authorization, validation, and data protectionInstrument services with logs, tracing, and metricsImprove CI/CD, testing, and deployment practicesRequirements:
Five-plus years of professional backend engineering experienceStrong English fluency for written and spoken collaborationExperience with scalable backend services and production operationsExperience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, or KubernetesFintech, payments, compliance, or regulated-industry experience preferredApply backend engineering and operational judgment to Jeeves's financial platform, supporting secure systems across payments, cards, and treasury.
