Position Overview : As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet safety standards. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical skill set, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and Repairs: Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups, to keep the fleet in optimal condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections, and provide detailed reports as needed.
- Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other mechanics and team members to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize fleet performance.
- Equipment Inspections: Review pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic.
- Possession of a valid 310T Mechanic License is an asset.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with a variety of heavy-duty vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Safety Bonus: Earn a $1.00 bonus for every hour worked from January through December, based on maintaining safe work practices.
