Responsibilities for Airport Security Guard
- Manage access points to restricted areas of the airport, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for authorized personnel only.
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas within the airport premises.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols and procedures.
- Provide assistance and guidance to passengers and visitors regarding airport facilities, directions, and emergency procedures in a courteous and professional manner.

- Collaborate with airport staff, law enforcement agencies, and other security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and security regulations, policies, and procedures, contributing to a safe and secure airport environment for all stakeholders.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold GardaWorld's standards of conduct at all times, demonstrating integrity, reliability, and a commitment to excellence in security service delivery.
Qualifications for Airport Security Guard
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security-related fields is preferred.
- This position required Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency due to the contractual obligations to obtain your Transport Canada Clerance.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods.
