Meridian Forest Services Ltd is growing our Team! We currently have both Senior and Assistant Engineer career opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Forest Engineer must guide and mentor a team in the completion of block layout, total chance planning, field reconnaissance, road layout, resource assessments, client liaison and office administration.
The Assistant Forest Engineer must be a team player who focuses on personal safety, quality, and achieving productivity targets. You will be part of a team working with a Senior Engineer from the total chance planning phase through to final block layout and design for all coastal harvest systems.
Eligibility Requirements
Interested applicants for these positions must be able to demonstrate the following criteria:
· Successful completion of post-secondary education from an accredited College or University with a degree or diploma in the field of Forestry; or significant related experience.
- Active members of FPBC or being eligible for registration with FPBC is preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience (Assistant) or five years' experience (Senior) in the BC Coastal Forest industry.
- A valid BC driver's license.
