Operations and Finance Associate

The Operations and Finance Associate plays a key role in managing office operations, supporting the consulting team, and ensuring smooth administrative and finance processes. This position involves overseeing reception duties, coordinating events, and providing cross-functional support while also handling finance-related tasks.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations and Administration:

• Manage reception duties (virtual and in-person), including handling mail, deliveries, phone lines, and meeting room bookings.
• Provide administrative support to the Consulting team and other departments.
• Maintain the office environment by ordering office supplies and fostering engagement in a hybrid work setting.
• Manage reception duties (virtual and in-person), including handling mail, deliveries, phone lines, and meeting room bookings.
• Assist with scheduling onboarding sessions for new hires and ensuring a seamless integration into the company.
• Contribute to planning and executing internal events, supporting University events alongside the marketing team.
• Perform administrative duties for various departments and assist with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Finance Responsibilities:

• Raise and record sales invoices daily in QuickBooks as requested by the sales team.
• Assist with employee expense and commission claims ensuring accuracy.
• Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in office administration or operations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks (or similar software).
• Basic knowledge of finance, including invoicing and GST/PST.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
