Junior Construction Coordinator / Supervisor

Job Description
Support field execution on impactful mine closure and environmental remediation projects within our Applied Solutions team. This opportunity is ideal for a junior Construction Coordinator / Supervisor looking to develop hands‑on experience in construction coordination within challenging environments.
Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate daily construction and field activities on mine closure and environmental projects.
- Assist in monitoring contractor work to ensure alignment with safety, scope, and schedule requirements.
- Work with project teams to support safe execution in remote and extreme climate conditions.
- Track field progress, maintain documentation, and contribute to reporting.
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Identify and communicate field issues, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to successful project outcomes and environmental restoration efforts.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction coordination, supervision, or field operations.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (civil, environmental, or related discipline).
- Exposure to mine closure, remediation, or environmental projects is an asset.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments.
- Ability to work in remote locations under extreme weather and site conditions.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in field environments.
- Adaptability and resilience in rotational work schedules (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off).
Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $37.60 - $49.90
MB & ON: $34.30 - $47.30
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $34.00 - $45.20
