Engagement Advisor at Federation of Canadian Municipalities

Drive municipal advocacy as an Engagement Advisor with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. This role combines strategic outreach and member engagement in a hybrid work environment. In this position, you will support FCM members by leading tailored engagement strategies and contributing to effective advocacy events. With a focus on the municipal sector, the Advisor develops tools that amplify members' voices and enhances collaboration across diverse teams. Developing an understanding of federal-municipal dynamics is key to ensuring our members are informed and engaged. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead outreach strategies for involved geographic regions
- Organize member-focused advocacy events for FCM leadership
- Amplify municipal voices through engagement activities
- Implement and evaluate engagement tools and strategies
- Provide expert advice on political strategy and municipal dynamics
- 3-5 years in advocacy or electoral campaigns
- Experience in project management and communication
- Understanding of federal politics and municipal needs
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
