Procurement Specialist in Agriculture - Clark Agri

Drive procurement excellence at Clark Agri Service Inc. as an Agricultural Procurement Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will oversee vendor relations, market analysis, and logistics coordination. This in-house role requires someone with solid experience in agricultural purchasing and a track record of building enduring partnerships with producers. Your ability to navigate the complexities of commodity markets will be vital in achieving cost efficiencies and timely product delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Source high-quality agricultural materials and equipment
- Foster strong relationships with farmers and vendors
- Negotiate favorable terms for contracts and delivery schedules
- Monitor market trends for informed purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with logistics teams on inventory strategies
- College diploma or University degree in Agriculture or Supply Chain
- 2-5 years experience in agricultural procurement or merchandising
- Familiarity with Southwestern Ontario's agriculture sector
- Strong tech skills in inventory management systems
- Ability to travel for supplier visits within Ontario
