Job Information

The Beaufort Delta Divisional Education Council actively promotes:

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Education Degree and be eligible for a Northwest Territories Teaching Certificate.

The following criteria will be important considerations in the hiring process:

  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of or willingness to become familiar with, the “Our Languages Curriculum”
  • Resource-based teaching
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and to build positive relationships
  • Proven experience working with students in an organized setting
  • Candidates must work well with a group of professionals
  • Understanding of professionalism and positive experience demonstrating this ability.

BDEC will assist eligible candidates to receive training in “Our Languages Curriculum”.
