Student Manufacturing Engineer at Magna

Kickstart your engineering career with Magna as a Student Manufacturing Engineer. This role focuses on ergonomic workstation evaluations, design participation, and supporting seasoned engineers while enhancing your skills in a hands-on environment. Magna is seeking a third or fourth year mechanical engineering student for its Cosma International group. As a manufacturing engineering student, you will engage in cycle and workflow analysis, assist in tool design, and ensure adherence to engineering standards. This position provides practical experience in an industrial setting while participating in ongoing Continuous Improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ergonomic evaluations of workstations
- Evaluate internal material flow paths
- Support engineers in various engineering tasks
- Maintain records of design-related work
- Assist in establishing department procedures
- Enrolled in a mechanical engineering program
- Knowledge of CAD software (CATIA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
