Experienced Full-Time Housekeeper - Private Home - 35 Hours/Week

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented full-time housekeeper for a permanent, long-term position in our private townhouse in Montréal. **Position Details**

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
• Compensation: $26.50/hour (equivalent total compensation)
• Start Date: First week of December 2026
• Position: Live-out, permanent
• Paid Vacation: Two fully paid weeks starting in the first year, with two consecutive weeks scheduled for August 2027

**About Our Home** Our townhouse has three main levels and a partially finished basement, including four bedrooms, one full bathroom, one powder room, an open-concept kitchen, dining and living area, laundry room, storage closets, and an attached garage. **Main Responsibilities**

• Daily kitchen cleaning, including dishes, countertops, stovetop, sink, and dishwasher.
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting throughout the home.
• Making beds and keeping bedrooms and living areas tidy.
• Washing, drying, folding, ironing, and putting away laundry.
• Changing bed linens once per week.
• Maintaining closets, laundry areas, and household storage spaces.
• Emptying garbage and recycling bins.

**Monday Priorities** Mondays are generally the busiest housekeeping days, with accumulated kitchen cleaning, laundry, and bathroom cleaning from the weekend. The candidate must be comfortable managing these priorities independently and efficiently. **Monthly Deep Cleaning**

• Clean the interior of the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets.
• Clean underneath beds, sofas, and movable furniture.
• Clean interior windows, frames, and tracks.
• Clean baseboards, doors, and accessible fixtures.
• Organize selected closets and storage areas.

These tasks will be distributed throughout the month. **Ideal Candidate** We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous professional housekeeping experience, preferably in private homes.
• Is reliable, punctual, honest, discreet, and trustworthy.
• Is energetic and physically comfortable working in a multilevel townhouse.
• Has excellent cleaning, laundry, and organizational skills.
• Works independently, takes initiative, and pays close attention to detail.
• Can communicate effectively in English or French.
• Is interested in a stable, long-term position.

Previous employer references are strongly preferred. **Benefits** We offer two fully paid weeks of annual vacation beginning in the first year of employment. The successful candidate will be entitled to take two consecutive paid weeks in August 2027. Our vacation reference year runs from May 1 to April 30. Cleaning equipment and supplies are provided.
