Pastry Chef Assistant

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Pastry Chef Assistant who’s eager to learn, experiment, and grow their skills. You take pride in food quality, presentation, and creating delicious baked goods and desserts. Join one of the region’s best culinary teams and bring your creativity to the kitchen!
Job Responsibilities
Follow recipes, baking methods, and procedures as directed by the Pastry Chef or Head Chef.
Assist with preparing and producing pastries, baked goods, desserts, and other pastry components.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Follow food safety plans, culinary standards, and company policies.
Bring creativity, new ideas, and a willingness to learn and try new techniques.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace.
Work collaboratively with the culinary team, treating equipment with care.
Meet the physical requirements of the position.
Winter employment (December–April), with the opportunity to continue into the Summer season.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
A strong interest in pastry and baking, with a desire to develop culinary skills.
Knowledge of pastry and baking techniques is an asset.
Familiarity with culinary terminology and techniques is an asset.
Reliable, organized, and able to take initiative.
Culinary school diploma or trade certificate is an asset.
Valid Food Safe certificate.
