Job Description:

Corporate Lending Operations is part of Global Operations, with a team of over 80 experienced professionals who are dedicated to support bilateral and syndicated loans for TD Securities' high profile and high value corporate clients globally. We also administer foreign currency loans for Personal Credit, Private Banking as well as Commercial and Retail clients. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Lending Operations, the Senior Deal Analyst (Level 8) manages a portfolio of complex syndicated, bilateral and direct lending transactions. This role requires strong product and process expertise, sound judgment, a high level of accountability, and the ability to manage risk, controls and stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• E nsuring accurate execution of servicing activities, deal maintenance, and lifecycle events.

• Interpret credit agreements, transaction notices and client instructions to ensure processing aligns with legal documentation, internal policies and control standards.

• Identify, investigate and escalate exceptions, while supporting effective resolution of operational issues and maintaining strong portfolio controls.

• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal partners, clients, agents and lenders to support consistent service delivery and deal execution.

• Perform transaction validation and provide approvals for work completed by other analysts, ensuring adherence to documented procedures, control standards and accuracy requirements.

• Contribute to team effectiveness through knowledge sharing, support for change initiatives, and guidance to less experienced colleagues.

Job Requirements

• Strong experience in corporate lending operations, loan servicing or a related operational environment.

• Solid knowledge of lending products, credit documentation, operational controls and transaction servicing requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, apply sound judgment and work independently in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk management, accuracy and client service.

Other Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• Experience with syndicated lending, agency servicing and Loan IQ is an asset.

• Experience supporting process improvement, change initiatives or control enhancements

• Experience reading legal documents is an asset

• Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, share knowledge and contribute to team development.
