Job Responsibility:
Job Summary: The Loans Officer is responsible for the development, analysis, and recommendation of loan Applications to the Lending Committee.

- Ability to interpret and analyze financial and credit data from reports, statements and business plans.
- Business Acuity: Able to provide sound business coaching/training services and business management tools for people wanting to start, expand, franchise or sell a rural business.
- Participate in community economic development initiatives.
- Attention to detail and accountability, as well as excellent organization and time management.
- Works well in a team, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data base programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating Loan Applications: assess the financial stability and creditworthiness of applicants
- Interviewing Applicants: interview applicants to understand their financial situation, needs, and goals.
- Researching Financial Status: research applicants' credit history, references, and other financial data.
- Completing Loan Documents: prepare and process loan contracts, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and signed.
- Promoting Loan Services: promote CFDCNV's loan products and services to attract new customers.
- Customer Service: assist clients with questions and requests related to their loans, and maintain client confidence by keeping loan information confidential.
- Updating Loan Files: review and update credit and loan files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- As necessary, support other functions and perform other responsibilities that may be reasonably assigned to the position by the General Manager.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in Lending, Banking or finance related field.
- Clear Criminal Record Check will be required.
