Caregiver / Companion Position (Flexible Hours – LMIA Support Available)
*LOCATION: FT MCMURRAY, AB*
APPLICANTS MUST CURRENTLY BE IN CANADA
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver/companion to support a loved family member in a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment. This position is flexible and can be offered as full-time or part-time, depending on availability and fit. Role & Responsibilities- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, including bathing (assistance with washing back and hair)
- Administer medications as directed
- Support meal preparation, light baking, and daily activities
- Encourage and assist with daily exercise and outings
- Monitor and support skin integrity and overall well-being
- Promote a positive, motivating environment that enhances quality of life
- Mobile and ambulatory with the use of a walker
- Requires assistance primarily for personal care and supervision
- Benefits greatly from encouragement to remain active, social, and engaged in daily routines
- Patient, attentive, and dependable
- Brings a positive, motivating attitude
- Enjoys engaging in activities such as baking, meal prep, and outings
- Committed to providing respectful, person-centred care
- $15 per hour
- LMIA support is available for eligible candidates, in accordance with Canadian employment and immigration regulations
