Siding Installer

Location: Ottawa, Ontario - on-site field position at job sites throughout Ottawa and surrounding communities

Remember Me Roofing is hiring an experienced Siding Installer to complete exterior projects across Ottawa. This position is suited to a careful, productive installer who understands how proper preparation, alignment, flashing, and finishing protect a home while delivering excellent curb appeal.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove existing siding and prepare exterior surfaces for installation
• Install house wrap, insulation, flashings, siding, trim, corners, soffit, and fascia as assigned
• Measure, cut, fit, fasten, and finish materials accurately
• Maintain straight courses, proper clearances, secure fastening, and weather-tight details
• Identify substrate or moisture concerns and report them to the foreman
• Use ladders, scaffolding, hand tools, and power tools safely
• Protect windows, doors, landscaping, and other customer property
• Keep work areas organized and complete a detailed final cleanup

Qualifications

• Professional exterior siding installation experience required
• Experience with vinyl siding; experience with additional siding systems is an asset
• Knowledge of exterior flashing, water-management, soffit, fascia, and trim details
• Ability to measure accurately and produce clean, consistent finishes
• Comfort working at heights and performing physical outdoor work
• Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and good teamwork
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to assigned job sites throughout Ottawa and surrounding communities are required 
• Ability to understand and communicate jobsite instructions and safety information in English. 

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, permanent employment
• Pay: CA$27.00-CA$35.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill
