Mining Process Engineering Technical Lead

Shape mining process solutions through technical leadership, trade-off studies, and process safety reviews at Ausenco’s Toronto office. Use strong engineering judgment across complex projects.This Lead Process Engineer position spans mineral processing studies, basic engineering, detailed design, and execution. You will evaluate alternatives, challenge assumptions, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. The work includes client technical discussions, process deliverables, regulatory reports, and practical design solutions.Key Responsibilities:
Lead process evaluations and trade-off studiesConduct HAZOP and LOPA process safety reviewsCoordinate Project Managers, Study Managers, and engineersIdentify technical risks and improvement opportunitiesContribute to NI 43-101 and S-K 1300 reportsRequirements:
Degree in Chemical, Mineral Processing, or related engineeringAt least 12 years in mineral processing engineeringStrong technical judgment and critical problem-solving skillsExperience with comminution, flotation, or separation technologiesExcellent client communication and presentation abilitiesApply your process safety, technical evaluation, and client leadership experience to mining and mineral processing consulting projects.
