Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Barista to lead our coffee team and ensure the highest quality of coffee and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent leadership skills, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train a team of baristas to ensure consistent quality and customer service
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
- Create and maintain a welcoming and clean coffee shop environment
- Manage inventory and ordering of coffee and supplies
- Develop and implement new coffee recipes and menu items
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain equipment and perform regular maintenance and cleaning
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Head Barista or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
