Advanced AC Mitigation Engineer Role

Join Stantec's Corrosion Prevention team as a Senior AC Mitigation Engineer. Focus on innovative solutions for AC interference and enhance pipeline safety in a hybrid work model.
We are seeking an experienced engineer to model complex geometries, design AC mitigation systems, and support enhancement of facility safety management processes. Your work will involve overseeing project implementations and collaborating on vital energy projects that make a difference. This role combines technical design and field assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform AC interference modeling with specialized software
• Design effective mitigation systems for electrical safety
• Review CP designs and inspection data thoroughly
• Conduct engineering calculations for project evaluations
• Collaborate on install coordination and designs
Requirements:
• Degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• 3–5+ years' relevant AC mitigation experience
• Strong familiarity with CDEGS software
• AMPP (NACE) certification advantageous
• Eligible for P.Eng. licensure
Utilize your skills in a role where your work directly influences energy infrastructure safety.
