Social Media Outreach & Talent Sourcing Specialist

• Hours: 20 hours / week

We are looking for several experienced Social Media Outreach & Talent Sourcing Specialists who can help us identify and directly connect with high-quality professionals through major social media platforms.

This is not primarily a content creation or social media management position .

Your main responsibility will be candidate sourcing, targeted outreach, networking, and initial engagement .

Platform Priorities

1. LinkedIn — Highest Priority

We are especially interested in candidates with strong LinkedIn sourcing and outreach experience.

You should know how to:

• Identify highly targeted professionals using LinkedIn search and advanced search techniques.
• Find candidates based on skills, industry, seniority, location, and professional background.
• Conduct personalized outreach and start professional conversations.
• Build targeted prospect/candidate lists.
• Manage connection requests and follow-up communication professionally.
• Track outreach, responses, and interested candidates.

2. Facebook

You should understand how to:

• Find relevant Facebook groups and professional communities.
• Identify potential candidates through groups, pages, communities, and public profiles.
• Engage naturally with communities.
• Conduct appropriate direct outreach.
• Find niche talent that may be difficult to reach through traditional recruiting platforms.

3. Other Platforms

Experience with additional platforms is a strong advantage, including:

• X / Twitter
• Instagram
• Reddit
• Discord
• Telegram
• Professional forums and niche online communities

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Understand the type of professionals we want to recruit.
• Determine where those people can be found online.
• Research and identify suitable candidates.
• Build organized candidate/prospect lists.
• Conduct personalized outreach.
• Start conversations and determine initial interest.
• Follow up appropriately.
• Introduce interested candidates to our internal team.
• Maintain clear records of outreach activity and results.

Requirements

• Proven experience with social media outreach, sourcing, recruiting, or lead generation.
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn , especially professional candidate sourcing.
• Experience conducting personalized outreach at scale while respecting platform rules.
• Strong written English communication.
• Ability to research and identify highly specific professional profiles.
• Organized approach to tracking contacts, responses, and follow-ups.
• Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.

Strongly Preferred

• LinkedIn Recruiter / Recruiter Lite experience.
• Boolean search experience.
• Experience sourcing technology professionals.
• AI/ML, software engineering, startup, or technical recruiting experience.
• Facebook group/community sourcing experience.
• Previous recruiting agency, headhunting, or executive-search experience.
