As a capital program manager, you'll monitor, evaluate, and make timely replacement decisions on the Facilities building assets and capital. Reporting to the facilities planning manager, this position focuses on maximizing return on investments, ensuring the resiliency of our building assets, and improving sustainability. In this role, you will: Take the lead on day-to-day analysis and project development activities for Facilities assets and buildings. You will work as a part of multi-discipline teams to develop and execute projects. Develop business cases and project development plans for asset replacements to maintain and modernize our Facilities assets and buildings. You will incorporate sustainability policies where possible and prepare budget estimates while working with the project team to determine scheduling timeframes, project scope, and evaluate costs. Maintain fiscal responsibility by managing the capital budget plan and required financial and regulatory reporting. Optimize the use of our assets and plan for effective replacements by keeping up to date on design criteria, material and processes through suppliers, literature, and industry organizations and conferences. What it takes: A bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline from an accredited university, plus a minimum of five years of recent and related experience in asset or building management within a leadership capacity. A demonstrated ability to assess issues related to asset and building capital and develop and implement alternative solutions that align with corporate strategies and meet business needs. Exceptional communication and leadership skills to engage with stakeholders across the business as you provide operational support and recommendations. In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
