Teaching Assistant for Physics II

Become a Teaching Assistant for the Fundamentals of Physics II course at the University of Ottawa's Main Campus. In this role, support students through grading, supervision, and direct contact in an engaging academic environment. This new position involves contributing to the Spring/Summer 2027 semester within the Faculty of Science. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist in grading assignments and exams, prepare course materials, and interact directly with students to enhance their learning experience. You’ll collaborate with Professor Wong and help facilitate a comprehensive understanding of physics concepts. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct grading of assignments and exams effectively
- Prepare materials and resources for lectures and tutorials
- Supervise students during exams and lab sessions
- Offer office hours for student support and questions
- Facilitate group discussions and tutorials
- Completed 3 years of University level Physics
- Strong understanding of physics concepts and teaching techniques
- Excellent communication skills with students
- Availability for preparation and grading hours
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
