The challenge:
This full-time Fall Protection System Installer position requires someone with skill, ambition and field experience in the fall protection and construction industry, including installation of fall safety systems at client sites. In this demanding role, you will be an integral part of our field installation team and you will be the front-line company representative with our clients. This is a great opportunity to make significant contributions to our company and grow professionally with the business.
What you'll do:
- Installation and maintenance of engineered fall protection systems while working safely at heights.
- Communicate between project management staff and customers while handling their questions and concerns while out in the field.
- Basic construction and warehouse duties.
- Operate a Forklift, Man Lift, Articulating Boom Lift etc.
- Pick-up, transportation, delivery and installation of necessary materials.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Fall protection or construction related experience is an asset.
- Work safely, and comfortably, at heights and within confined space.
- Read, and understand engineered drawings, plans and blueprints.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Experience with the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Physically fit and able to frequently lift in excess of 50 pounds.
- Ability to travel overnight and meet overtime requirements.
- Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated by individual and team achievement as well as able to operate under minimal supervision.
