Merchant Technical Support Specialist

Merchant technical support at affirm combines troubleshooting expertise with reliable service for business partners across a remote-first workforce.
As a Product Support Specialist, you will resolve technical and operational issues for e-commerce retailers using various platforms. You will become a product and payments expert while working with Sales, Client Success, Operations, and Engineering. The role supports quick solutions, account troubleshooting, scalable processes, and merchant communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support affirm’s merchant partners across e-commerce platforms
- Troubleshoot complicated technical and configuration issues
- Collaborate with engineers on technical and operational resolutions
- Manage multiple inquiries with appropriate prioritization
- Build scalable processes and communicate feature enhancements
Requirements:
- Two or more years in technology, e-commerce, SaaS, or similar roles
- Understanding of complicated technical systems and concepts
- Ability to handle high request volumes efficiently and empathetically
- Strong writing for technical explanations and relationship building
- Fluency in French and English
