Examples of Job Duties: What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, bathing, and other daily activities of living
• Assist your clients with transportation, errands, and light housekeeping
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Qualifications:

• You are passionate about helping seniors.
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients.
• You want to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life.
• Personal Support Worker (PSW) certified.
• At least one year of experience providing care to seniors.
• Must have passed or be able to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• HSCPOA registration strongly preferred.
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and currently available to work in Ontario.

Compensation: $20-23/hr depending on experience.
