You will work closely with clients and their families in the home, completing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and recommending equipment and environmental modifications that promote safety, independence, and quality of life. Beyond delivering exceptional clinical care, there will be opportunities to contribute to new service development, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), quality improvement initiatives, and innovative models of care that can help expand Occupational Therapy services across the community.
As our OT program continues to evolve, there will also be mentorship and leadership opportunities for therapists interested in helping shape the future of community Occupational Therapy. This includes opportunities to mentor Occupational Therapy students during community placements, support the development of future clinicians, assist with onboarding new therapists, and contribute to clinical resources and best practices.
