DIRECTOR OF PERSONAL TRAINING & PERFORMANCE

Full-time leadership role | Vancouver, BC | $70,000–$90,000 base plus performance incentives

Lead Rumble Boxing's personal training business, coaching systems, team development, revenue growth, and performance strategy across our studios. This is a senior leadership role—not a traditional client-facing trainer position.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Rumble is expanding beyond boutique boxing into a performance and wellness ecosystem that brings together boxing, strength and conditioning, recovery, mobility, longevity, and personal training.

We are looking for an experienced fitness leader to take ownership of our Personal Training and Performance Coaching vertical. You will build scalable systems, develop high-performing coaches, strengthen client results and retention, and help grow a meaningful line of business across a multi-location brand.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Coaching systems and methodology: Build and standardize personal training, semi-private, and small-group performance programs, including onboarding, assessments, programming, and progression frameworks.

• Coach recruitment and development: Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and develop a high-performing coaching team. Create clear standards, internal education, and career-development pathways.

• Revenue and business performance: Own personal training revenue, retention, lead conversion, and reporting. Build stronger value positioning and reduce discount dependency.

• Client experience: Establish a consistent, premium coaching experience that produces measurable outcomes and long-term relationships.

• Brand and culture: Shape Rumble's performance identity and coaching philosophy, and partner with marketing on content that positions our coaches as trusted specialists.

• Recovery and longevity: Integrate mobility, recovery, and sustainable performance principles into the training system.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

In your first 90 days, you will assess the current personal training operation, identify the highest-impact opportunities, establish core performance metrics, align coaching standards, and present a practical roadmap for program and revenue growth.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of experience in personal training, coaching, fitness management, or performance leadership.

• Proven experience leading trainers or coaching teams in a multi-location or multi-team environment.

• Accountability for revenue, retention, sales conversion, or other meaningful business-performance metrics.

• Experience designing scalable onboarding, education, programming, or performance-management systems.

• Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills, with the judgment to develop people and uphold standards without ego.

Experience in strength and conditioning, athletic performance, boutique fitness, recovery, or premium personal training is valuable, but candidates do not need to match every preferred qualification to apply.

LOCATION

This role is based at Rumble Boxing Yaletown, 968 Expo Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2W1, with work across our Vancouver-area studios as required.

COMPENSATION

$70,000–$90,000 per year base salary, plus performance incentives tied to revenue growth, retention, and coaching-system results.
