Senior Water Civil Engineer

Lead complex water infrastructure projects as a Senior Civil Engineer with Stantec in Burnaby, using technical design and project leadership expertise.Stantec’s Water group serves public and private sector clients across British Columbia and North America. This senior position combines technical engineering, project technical leadership, project management, and mentorship. Projects include watermains, conveyance, lift stations, and pump stations within the Water/Wastewater industry.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee complex projects and perform technical civil design tasksProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team membersManage project teams, budgets, and financial performanceLead coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and consultantsConduct quality assurance and quality control reviewsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer license in British Columbia or EGBC eligibilityMinimum 15 years of experienceStrong knowledge of civil systems, materials, codes, and standardsProficiency with Microsoft Office suite servicesBring water infrastructure design, project management, and mentorship expertise to Stantec’s Burnaby-based Water team in British Columbia.
