Senior Water Resources Engineer

WSP Global Inc.

Lead hydrologic and hydraulic modelling with WSP’s Surface Water Team in Mississauga, Ontario, shaping resilient water systems across complex projects.As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will guide junior consultants and partner with senior specialists. Your work spans water balances, floodplain mapping, dam-breach analysis, river engineering, mine-water applications, and water-quality modelling. You will support multidisciplinary projects across Canada and internationally.Key Responsibilities:
Lead hydrologic and hydraulic water resources assignmentsDevelop designs for stormwater systems and hydraulic structuresApply hydrodynamic and water-quality modellingManage projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teamsGuide junior consultants and share technical knowledgeRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringEight or more years of water resources consulting experienceProfessional engineering designation in Ontario or active progressExperience preparing assessments, approvals, and water-management designsProficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PCSWMM, GIS, and AutoCADApply senior water resources consulting expertise, modelling capabilities, and technical leadership to WSP’s surface-water projects.
