We partner with experts across the industry, guided by empathy and insight, to advance health for everyone.The impact you’ll make in this roleAs a Maintenance Technician/Technologist, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.This role works a rotating shift and includes starting pay of $73,000/year .Responsibilities include but not limited to: Supporting production equipment in a medical device healthcare environment. Troubleshooting and repairing electro/mechanical equipment failures. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation. Working proactively to ensure production performance targets are met. Focusing on Continuous Improvement projects to drive improvements in OEE. Assisting in developing plans to correct equipment deficiencies and determining long-term solutions for equipment issues to improve reliability. Scheduling and performing preventative maintenance procedures to ensure proper operation. Ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Documentation Practices are followed. Supporting Engineering projects and leading actions assigned to the maintenance group. Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts. Required Qualifications Certificate/Diploma in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology field OR a High School Diploma/GED or higher AND three (3) or more years of mechanical or electrical experience in an industrial environment. Must reside near Morden, MB or have confirmed plans to relocate prior to hire. “Nice to Have” Qualifications Flexibility to work different shift patterns as the business requires. Eligible for registration with CTTAM as a Technician or Technologist. Experience troubleshooting and repairing motors, pumps, web handling systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drive systems and related components, valves, brakes, etc. Demonstrated proficiency working with equipment such as AC/DC motors, servo systems, PLCs, robotics, vision systems, sensors, etc. Demonstrated high level of technical ability. Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong troubleshooting / problem solving skills. Strong organization and time management skills. Proficient in using the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
