Leadership Role in Disability Advocacy
Volunteer Success
Serve as Vice-President and influence real change in disability advocacy within a nonprofit context. Collaborate to manage chapter operations and drive community involvement. This in-person role in Vancouver allows you to engage deeply with local advocacy efforts. You will support the Chapter President in enhancing operations and expanding outreach initiatives, fostering a supportive environment for individuals with disabilities. Your leadership will be integral in aligning activities with community needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chapter President in operational leadership
- Drive inclusive community initiatives
- Engage with local partners and stakeholders
- Help coordinate events and outreach programs
- Oversee volunteer involvement across initiatives
- Reside in Vancouver mandatory
- Experience in community service or advocacy preferred
- Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
- Passion for social change and inclusion
- Adaptable schedule for community working hours
