Remote Python Analytics Modernization Developer
Adastra Corporation
Build Python applications and automation remotely for Adastra's analytics modernization initiative, supporting teams across Canada or the United States.
This intermediate to senior-level developer role focuses on replacing legacy SAS workloads with Anaconda and Python environments. You will apply Python, SQL, SAS, Linux or Unix scripting, and relational database experience. The role supports scalable, reliable, and maintainable analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Python applications
- Interpret SAS processes for Python-based migration
- Create Unix data processing and automation pipelines
- Optimize applications for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams
Requirements:
- Intermediate to senior-level development background
- Python and Anaconda proficiency with SQL and SAS
- Strong Linux or Unix scripting capabilities
- CRON scheduling and automation experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
