Director Client Advisory in IT Security

Lead client advisory efforts in IT security with Optiv in Alberta or BC. As Solutions Director, drive revenue and provide strategic guidance while managing technical teams to solve client challenges. Optiv seeks a Solutions Director for its field-based team. This leadership role requires a mix of tactical and strategic responsibilities, including resource management, participation in sales planning, and team support. Candidates must have extensive experience in IT security and the ability to mentor personnel while achieving business goals. Key Responsibilities: • Hire and allocate resources to support teams • Participate in strategic sales planning sessions • Mentor and evaluate technical staff to meet goals • Communicate and execute sales strategies effectively • Manage sales opportunities and account plans Requirements: • BS/BA or equivalent work experience required • Minimum 5 years in IT security pre/post-sales roles • Experience with Firewall, IPS, DLP, SIEM, and more • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills • Valid Canadian driver's license and travel availability Deliver impactful guidance on technical strategies and help solve client problems as a leader in IT security. #J-18808-Ljbffr
