Multimedia Advertising Strategist

Yukon News is looking for a driven, creative, and fearless Multimedia Advertising Strategist to join our team.
This is not a desk job. We are looking for a relationship builder who is just as comfortable brainstorming with a local shop owner as they are presenting to a corporate executive. As the engine of our revenue team, you will take our incredible brand into the Yukon market, helping local businesses grow by connecting them with our audience through print, digital, and social media campaigns.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue: Actively prospect for new clients (cold calling and drop-ins) to build a pipeline of new business, while managing and upselling a portfolio of existing loyal clients.
- Consult & Create: Conduct needs assessments with business owners and build comprehensive marketing campaigns using our full suite of products (Print, Digital Display, Social Media).
- Present: Use industry-leading sales tools to deliver data-driven presentations.
- Manage the Details: Oversee the creative workflow, ensuring ads are booked, proofs are
approved, and campaigns launch on time and on budget. - Network: Represent Yukon News at community events and build a strong referral
network.
Requirements
- Mandatory: A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required for this role.
- Asset: Previous experience in B2B sales, marketing, or media is preferred, but we are willing to train the right personality.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software and an understanding of the digital media landscape.
