Terrain Park Assistant (Level 1)

The Terrain Park Assistant performs setup and maintenance on terrain park features and ensures the overall function and safety of the terrain park. Compensation Information: $20.45 per hour
Physical Requirement: Heavy; work activities involve handling loads up to 35kg; predominantly in an outdoor setting.
This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

This role is eligible for an incentive for successful applicants to receive $1 per hour worked based on completion of a full winter season contract. Conditions apply to this incentive and will be shared during the interview and onboarding.
Skills you bring with you:
- Previous Terrain Park experience.
- Knowledge of Terrain Park features and trends.
- Knowledge of risk management for Terrain Parks.
- Terrain Park maintenance experience.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Terrain Park; remain in radio contact at all times.
- Ensure proper risk management for the Terrain Park.
- Punctuality to scheduled shift.
- Work in co-ordination with grooming department to ensure park is properly maintained.
- Daily maintenance reports to be completed throughout shift.
- Keep Supervisor advised daily of all activities in the Terrain Park.
- Approved Ski Helmet required when working on snow.
- Personal communication device use Not Permitted during working hours.
