Vice President Operational Risk Management

Lead global operational risk management at Manulife in a hybrid executive role requiring resilience expertise and strategic oversight. Shape enterprise risk practices across the organization.As Vice President, Operational Risk Management, you will lead the Global ORM function and support the Head of Technology, Operational and AI Risk. The role covers business resiliency, crisis management, information risk, operational controls, regulatory expectations, and global execution. You will transform the ORM model while aligning practices with company strategy, industry developments, and requirements from OSFI and other regulators.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Global ORM function and enterprise-level ORM programOversee resilience and crisis risk teams across multiple locationsDesign risk frameworks, appetite, assessments, incidents, scenarios, and reportingDrive operational risk transformation and strategic global initiativesEngage regulators, committees, executives, and global functional groupsRequirements:
12–15 years in business resiliency, crisis management, and ORMLarge-enterprise operations experience on a global scaleInformation risk leadership and operational risk expertiseKnowledge of Canadian and United States regulatory environmentsStrong communication, influence, analysis, and critical-thinking skillsBring global leadership, operational risk expertise, and resilience strategy to Manulife’s enterprise risk transformation in a hybrid setting.
