Role Overview The A220 commercial aircraft programme is seeking avionics technicians to join the team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. Whether you have experience in the industrial sector, experience in the aerospace sector, or are new to the field but motivated to grow and develop new skills, this position could suit you. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Install and repair electrical and avionics components. Perform functional tests and calibration on aircraft systems. Diagnose and inspect avionics systems, including communication and navigation systems, radar, detection circuits, computers, cameras, recording systems, automatic controls, dashboards and all electrical equipment. Repair avionics systems as needed. Implement changes in line with service bulletins while respecting industry standards. Other related duties that may vary depending on experience and qualifications. Requirements You demonstrate autonomy and initiative and work well in a multidisciplinary team. You will be required to work in confined spaces on a regular basis. You will be required to work at heights of up to 30 feet on a regular basis. Able to adopt and maintain different physical positions as required by the job. Licences & Qualifications A Diploma of College Studies (D.C.S.) or Attestation of College Studies (A.C.S.) in avionics technology; or An E licence together with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the avionics field within the last 5 years. Requirements
